Please contact Mrs. Allen concerning Lesson tuition amounts and current openings.

Required Piano Lesson Books:

Student method books or repertoire books are based on their level of each the student's playing ability. She is familiar with most of the method books being used today and is able to teach from any kind. Currently, she recommends and use the Faber Adventure books for children, teens, and adults for piano lessons.  They develop a great foundation of music basics at a steady pace and are easy for the students to follow. Please only purchase the books that are applicable for the current level that the student is at. Mrs. Allen can make arrangements to purchase the books for you, including the cost of tax, and have the books available for the student at their lesson. Please give me at least 7 days notice and I will include the cost of the books in their monthly lesson summary for the next month.

Horn Lesson Books:

Horn pieces are assigned based on ability. We use books like the Kopprasch studies books as technique builders and various other books, orchestra excerpts, duet books and solo pieces to supplement learning for artistic playing. Scale sheets are given to each student to build the fundamentals of technique.

The books can be purchased in the store listed below here in town and there are also other online resources that can supply the books such as Amazon.com. Please buy new books to avoid notes written by the previous owner.
